Patient Treatment Information
Indications
Curaderm BEC5 is approved by Health Authorities to treat actinic keratosis, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. Curaderm BEC5 is a skin-use only (topical) medicine to treat certain types of non-melanoma skin cancers. The type of skin cancer needs to be diagnosed by your healthcare provider. Safety Information
When using Curaderm BEC5, the most common side effects involve skin reactions in the application area. These include redness, skin peeling, some burning and changes in skin colour. You should be aware that during treatment with Curaderm BEC5 the area being treated may appear to look worse than before treatment. This is because the treatment eliminates unwanted skin cancer cells that are initially unseen with the bare eyes.
